Requirements:

  • TCP/IP Basics
  • Netzwork basics
Objectives

You will achieve good knowledge about the following important topics of MikroTik RouterOS:

  • Fundamentals / Basics
  • Wireless LAN
  • Firewalling
  • Quality of Service
  • Virtual Private Netzworks

Your academic knowledge will be strenghten by lots of hands-on labs. In the end you will not only know, how to do some configurations in theory, in the end you will have done most of them by yourself.

Some of the configurations or possibilities, you will get to know about:

  • System reinstallation without losing the software licence
  • Connecting two locations transparently together as if they would be connected to the same switch
  • Protect your router and the network behind during a DoS attack.
  • Transparently proxy services like HTTP and DNS
  • VPN connections (client and server)
  • Hotspots with login and accounting

Certification

Because of our three trained trainers, we are authorised to execute official MikroTik RouterOS certification tests. You will be able to obtain an official certificate (issued by MikroTik) if you pass the examination. The test will be part of the training, so there is no extra cost or need to go to a different location.
